Solutia Raises Price on All Nylon Industrial Fibers

Solutia Inc. Solutia nylon Industrial Fibers will implement up to a 7% price increase effective May 20, 2007. This increase will apply to all fibers serving the airbag, industrial, and military markets, ranging from 420 through 1890 denier.
"We have implemented this price increase to reflect the rising energy costs environment, sustained increases in feedstock and transportation costs, and market demand," said Kurt Martin, Business Manger, Nylon Industrial Fibers, Solutia Inc.
