BASF raises prices of carboxylic acids and mixtures
Effective immediately, or as existing contracts permit, BASF is raising its prices for the carboxylic acids 2-ethylhexanoic acid, formic acid and mixtures based on formic acid and propionic acid in Europe.
2-Ethylhexanoic acid: + EUR40 per metric ton
Formic acid, 85%: + EUR40 per metric ton
Formic acid, 99%: + EUR60 per metric ton
Mixtures containing formic acid and propionic acid:
Lupro-Cid® (64% formic acid content): + EUR50 per metric ton
Lupro-Mix® (43% formic acid content): + EUR30 per metric ton
