Yara restarts production in Le Havre
The Le Havre facility transforms natural gas into ammonia and urea, which are the main components in the production of nitrogen fertilizers and chemicals. The site has an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons of ammonia and 350,000 tons of urea. Yara owns 100% of Le Havre ammonia production and 47.85% of urea production.
The decision to restart production reflects improved international urea prices and lower energy cost.
