Ciba announces an expansion to its global Technical Service network with the opening of a new Technical Service Center in Shanghai to serve the Process & Lubricants Additives industry in China.
The new center is fully equipped to perform key tests required for lubricant customers, including thermo-oxidative, wear and corrosion tests. The center is also equipped to perform a full range of testing to support Ciba’s market entry of its pour point depressants and viscosity modifier product lines.
“Leveraging Ciba’s strong presence in China has enabled the business to cost effectively develop this new Technical Center in Shanghai,” says Douglas Brown, Global Head of Process & Lubricants Additives. “The Shanghai laboratory will allow us to more quickly meet the needs of customers based in China and service our traditional component and industrial lubricant packages businesses. In addition, it will greatly support a rapid market build up for the pour point depressants and viscosity modifier product lines we will be offering in that region.”
