Ceramic Materials for Maximum Temperatures

Technical ceramics achieve operating temperatures from -200°C to +800°C, temporarily even up to +1000°C. The glass-ceramic variants are characterized by dimensionally stable properties, chemical resistance and excellent electrical insulation capabilities at high voltages. These properties make them indispensable for applications in high-temperature process engineering.

Aramid Sealing Materials for Critical Applications

Asbestos-free aramid plates withstand temperatures up to +400°C and pressures up to 80 bar. The aramid/graphite combination with 75% graphite content increases pressure resistance to 100 bar and offers excellent resistance to fuels and oils. These materials are KTW-, BAM- and DVGW-approved and resistant to gases, vapors, inorganic acids and lubricants.

Natural Sealing Materials

Rubber cork plates function as insulation material and vibration damper up to +110°C with ozone resistance. Pressed cork plates with PUR binding show very good resistance to alkalis, acids, gasoline and oils. Vulcanized fiber plates convince through mechanical strength and aging resistance, but are sensitive to acids and alkalis.
