Sachtleben annouces a price increase on all TiO2 products

Sachtleben announces a price increase of 100 € per metric ton on all TiO2 products sold in Europe, Middle East and Africa, effective on September 1, 2009.
In North America prices of all TiO2 products will be increased by USD 0.07 per pound, or CAD 0.07 per pound. In Latin America and Asia & Pacific region prices will increase by USD 150 per metric ton. These increases are also effective from September 1, 2009.
These price adjustments are necessary to counter the unsatisfactory global profitability trend.
