25-Mar-2010 - USA

Dow Corning Corporation was recently recognized by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for 2010. Among a record number of nominations, Dow Corning was chosen for implementing upright business practices and initiatives reflected in Dow Corning’s Code of Conduct.

“Dow Corning’s commitment to sound business conduct is one of the company’s most valued assets,” said Stephanie A. Burns, Dow Corning Chairman, President, and CEO. “Our employees’ commitment to doing what is right has driven our success and will help us sustain our success well into the future.”

Ethical conduct is supported by the company’s leadership team, and the Ethics and Compliance Program. It is further sustained by dedication to these same high standards from employees around the world.

“Dow Corning’s promotion of a sound ethical environment shines within its industry and shows a clear understanding that operating under the highest standards for business behavior goes beyond goodwill and “lip-service” and is intimately linked to performance and profitability,” said Alex Brigham, Executive Director of the Ethisphere Institute. “This year’s World's Most Ethical Companies award was more competitive than ever, because companies realize that making ethics a priority is critical amidst a tough economic environment.”
