Arkema: Price increase of acetone based oxygenated solvents
Advertisement
From April 2010 and with immediate effect, Arkema increases its solvents price by 150 €/ton in Europe, as far as the contracts allow it.
Involved products are:
- Methyl Isobutyl Ketone (MIBK),
- Diacetone Alcohol (DAA),
- Hexylene Glycol (HG),
- Isophorone (IPHO)
According to the company, this adjustment is necessary in order to pass on the strong increase of the raw material price, especially the acetone one.
