DELO generated record revenue in its completed fiscal year (ending March 31, 2026). Sales of €264 million represent growth of eight percent compared to the previous year. Despite challenging global economic conditions, DELO continues its successful trajectory and is expanding its workforce.
East Asia remained the most important revenue region with a 53 percent share, followed by Europe at 27 percent and North and South America at 13 percent. Southeast Asia contributed seven percent to total revenue. South Korea and China were among the fastest-growing markets. Key industries continued to be semiconductors, automotive, and consumer electronics. Research and development investments accounted for 15 percent of revenue—approximately four times the industry average.
“Despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainties, we can look back on a successful fiscal year,” says Dr. Wolf Herold, managing partner of DELO. “Our international presence, particularly in East Asia, and diversification across various technology sectors are proving to be stabilizing factors in a challenging market environment.”
Expansion at Windach headquarters and internationally
Construction projects at the Windach headquarters are progressing: the new logistics building and an additional laboratory building will be commissioned by the end of 2026. Construction of a representative forum will be completed in 2027. Construction of a production facility in Malaysia is planned to begin at the end of this year.
DELO continued its investments in renewable energy and commissioned another photovoltaic system with 1,330 modules on the new logistics building. With a peak output of 600 kWp, it contributes to sustainable energy supply. A total of 5,300 modules now generate solar power for DELO—enough to supply approximately 550 households. More than 90 percent of the electricity is used for internal consumption. The buildings under construction will also receive additional PV modules.
The workforce grew to 1,215 at the end of the fiscal year, representing an increase of nearly five percent compared to the previous year.
