DuPont Leader Elected to Issue Management Council Board
DuPont Global Issues Management Director Gil Meyerrecently was elected to the Issue Management Council, the pioneer professional center connecting and supporting global issue managers. Gil is one of five new board members to join the governing body.
The other new board members are:
- Elizabeth (Betsy) Borrelli, senior director, Global Issues and Reputation Lead, Primary Care Business Unit Communications, Pfizer, Inc.
- Michael Palese, Legal Communications, Chrysler Group LLC
- Elisa Puzzuoli, vice president, Issue Management, Prudential Insurance Company of America
- Sylvia Williams, head of Global Issues, Shell International
As director of DuPont Global Issues Management, Gil leads issues and crisis management programs for DuPont worldwide and tracks future trends for the company. During his 24-year career at DuPont, Gil has served in a wide range of Public Affairs and Regulatory Affairs roles. He has been in his current role since 2004.
IMC board directors are chosen for their diversity in skill sets, industry and geographic location, along with a commitment to help their companies anticipate, act on and resolve important issues.
As the international clearinghouse for information on issue management, the IMC’s primary goal is enhancing organizational and individual ability to anticipate and manage issues.
