Colder Products Company Promotes Franz Stankiewicz to Director of Sales - Europe

Colder Products Company announced that Franz Stankiewicz has been promoted to Director of Sales - Europe. Stankiewicz, who has been instrumental in the growth of Colder's business in German-speaking countries and Eastern Europe, is now responsible for driving all of Colder's sales activities in European markets.

A five-year veteran of Colder, Stankiewicz helped redefine the company's distribution channel structure and was key to Colder's exponential growth in Europe. He will draw on his 20 years of technical sales experience to continue this expansion through further development of Colder's multi-channel sales strategy in Europe. Stankiewicz is based at Colder Products Company GmbH, in Mainz-Kastel, Germany.

Ablynx appoints Wim Ottevaere as CFO

Ablynx has announced the appointment of Wim Ottevaere as its first Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Currently CFO at Innogenetics NV, Mr. Ottevaere will join Ablynx in August 2006.

Mr. Ottevaere brings more than 28 years of experience in finance to Ablynx and has worked for 14 years in a publicly-listed company. In his role as CFO of Innogenetics which he has held since 1992, he co-ordinated the Company's IPO in Brussels in 1996 and has since managed the Company through several follow-on offerings and M&A transactions. Mr. Ottevaere has a Masters degree in business economics from the University of Antwerp UFSIA, Belgium.

VASTox appoints Professor George Fleet as carbohydrate chemistry consultant

VASTox announced the appointment of Professor George Fleet as specialist consultant for the Company's growing carbohydrate chemistry business. Professor George Fleet, Department of Chemistry, University of Oxford, is an expert on carbohydrate chemistry. He has published over 400 academic papers and has consulted for many of the leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Professor Fleet will work with VASTox to provide technical input into both the Company's drug development programmes and growing services business.
