Supervisory Board of Linde AG appoints new Executive Board Members

At its meeting the Supervisory Board of Linde AG appointed Kent Masters (45), Trevor Burt (48) and Georg Denoke (41) as new Members of the Executive Board of Linde AG.

Masters, previously on the board of The BOC Group plc, Windlesham/UK, with responsibility for the Line of Business "Industrial and Special Products" (ISP), will take charge of the Americas and Africa, as well as the "On-site" global business unit and the "Liquid Gases" business. Burt, until now responsible at BOC for North America, will manage the Asia/Pacific region as well as the "Packaged Gases" and "Electronics Gases" businesses. Denoke, up to now responsible for finance at Linde Gas, will be in charge of finance comprising Controlling, Financial Statements, Treasury, Taxes, Mergers & Acquisitions and Procurement. He follows Dr. Peter Diesch (51), who will be leaving the company of his own volition at the end of the year.

The new Executive Board is led by Professor Dr. Wolfgang Reitzle (57), President and Chief Executive Officer of Linde AG. The Group's global functions also report directly to Professor Reitzle who is also responsible for the logistics division, Gist. Dr. Aldo Belloni (56), Member of the Executive Board of Linde AG, is in charge of the Europe and Middle East regions as well as the Global Business Unit "Healthcare." He also manages the Engineering division and is responsible for Innovation Management. Hubertus Krossa (58) is a Member of the Executive Board of Linde AG with full responsibility for the Material Handling business segment.
