Quick-connect couplings made of polypropylene (PP) are indispensable components in laboratory, analytical, and chemical technology. These two-piece hose connectors enable fast and secure connections of fluid lines with reliable shut-off function.

Material advantages and chemical resistance

PP quick-connect couplings are characterized by their excellent chemical resistance to alkalis, acids, gasoline, fats, oils, and most solvents. Only oxidizing acids such as nitric acid (HNO₃) should be avoided. The coupling parts are gamma-sterilizable and meet the highest requirements of sterile technology.

Function and handling

Disconnection is achieved by simple thumb pressure on the locking mechanism. The plug disconnects from the coupling part and both components automatically shut off. The maximum pressure load is up to 7.6 bar at +20 °C, depending on the type.
