Sigma Diagnostics to Supply Reagents To HSCA Members in the U.S.
A new contract between HSCA, a national healthcare group purchasing organization, and Sigma Diagnostics, a division of Sigma-Aldrich, brings HSCA members a complete line of chemistry reagents and controls, histology routine and special stains, and hematology stains. Effective February 1, 2001, this three-year agreement will provide members with access to Sigma's complete line of chemistry reagents and controls. HSCA has more than 2,000 healthcare members across the United States.
"This new agreement is another benefit for our member facilities," said Damian Westrich, HSCA's Director of Laboratory. "Not only will our members have access to Sigma Diagnostics' broad range of reagents, standards and controls, but our members will also benefit from their on-site reagent conversion team, available to offer complete service whenever our members need it."
"We're extremely excited about this opportunity to provide HSCA's membership with our clinical chemistry and cardiac risk assessment reagents," said Barry Gaddes, Sigma Diagnostics' National Accounts Manager. "Innovative new technologies such as our Infinity Liquid Chemistry Reagents and our Cardiac Risk Assessment Line Reagents will provide HSCA's membership facilities with leading clinical products and services."
Additionally, Sigma offers the Computrol QC Data Management program with electronic data submission options and real time data submission.
