GEA receives orders worth more than 25 MEUR from the energy sector
GEA has received orders worth more than 25 MEUR for the manufacturing and installation as well as for the service of cooling equipment from Asia, Africa and Western Europe. These orders will be handled by the segment GEA Heat Exchangers.
In the Philippines, GEA will supply Air Cooled Condensers for the expansion of a refinery. The order comes from a leading Korean Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company. Another order came from a leading Chinese EPC company for a cooling tower in a coal-fired power plant in India. Yet another order comes from South Africa, where GEA will design, manufacture and install the feed water heater for a coal-fired power plant. In addition, a substantial order for cooling tower service has been received from a Western European Power plant.
“These orders underline the global competitiveness of our segment GEA Heat Exchangers. Their global orientation as well as new initiatives in the service area are clearly pay off,” says Juerg Oleas, CEO of GEA Group AG.
