Tikkurila Oyj's President and CEO Erkki Järvinen to leave the company

Tikkurila Oyj's Board of Directors has decided that Erkki Järvinen will leave his position as the President and CEO of the company. Tikkurila's Board of Directors has appointed CFO Jukka Havia as Tikkurila's interim President and CEO starting from September 21, 2017. Järvinen will leave the company during September. The Board of Directors has started a recruitment process for a new President and CEO.

"I warmly thank Tikkurila's personnel, customers and business partners for the good cooperation during challenging years. Tikkurila is a fine company. I strongly believe that the company is able to return to the profitable growth track," says Erkki Järvinen.

"Tikkurila's Board thanks Erkki Järvinen for the nine-year period at Tikkurila, including the process of listing the company to Helsinki Stock Exchange. The company has encountered significant changes in its main markets, especially in the east, and hence emphasis has been on managing external change factors," says Jari Paasikivi, Chairman of the Board.
