PVDF quick-disconnect couplings (polyvinylidene fluoride) are highly specialized connection elements for demanding applications in chemical technology and process engineering. The fluoroplastic PVDF offers exceptional chemical resistance to aggressive media and enables safe transport of acids, bases, aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes, and chlorine gas.

The two-piece hose connectors made from PVDF operate reliably in a temperature range from -20°C to +120°C at a maximum working pressure of 8 bar. The integrated valve system with corrosion-resistant stainless steel springs (1.4751) ensures automatic shut-off when disconnecting the coupling parts and prevents uncontrolled media release.

Easy handling through thumb-pressure mechanism enables quick connections and disconnections without tools. PVDF as a biocompatible and chemically inert material guarantees highest purity and safety in critical processes.

The couplings are available with either hose barbs or threaded connections (internal/external threads) and are ideally suited for applications with gaseous and liquid aggressive media in nominal widths of 5 and 7 mm.
