BASF increases price for Neopentylglycol

29-May-2002

Effective June 1, 2002 BASF will increase the price for Neopentylglycol in Europe by € 0.10/kg, as contracts allow. This increase is necessary to partially offset the continued rise in raw material costs.

Neopentylglycol is mainly used as a raw material in the manufacture of polyester resins for powder coatings and fiberglass reinforced plastics.
