The University of Zurich (UZH), the organic chemistry Institute and the Laboratorium für Prozessforschung (LPF) invite for the second Siegfried Symposium. During the Symposium the internationally recognized Siegfried Medal will be awarded jointly by the UZH and Siegfried for outstanding research in the field of chemical process development.

This years' Siegfried Symposium offers a wide range of outstanding speakers who will delve into the world of process development as practiced by leading companies. The speakers will offer 'real life' scenarios and acquaint the participants with current research at various universities.

The demand for close cooperation between academia and industry is being heard repeatedly as is the call for breakthroughs in chemical process development, attained at universities, to be made available to industry as quickly as possible. Siegfried enjoys a longstanding cooperation with the University of Zurich's Laboratorium für Prozessforschung, which has provided significant benefits for both organizations.
