Sun Chemical Security Expands Products, Services for Currency Printing

17-Jan-2007

Sun Chemical Security's intaglio inks have been selected for use on one of the world's high-profile currencies, with production scheduled to begin in 2007. The decision comes following the intaglio cylinder wipe ink system's successful evaluation in multiple currency printing applications around the world.

"Given the high standards set in this very specialized and sophisticated sector of the graphic arts industry, we are proud of our accomplishments to date," said John Luppino, general manager, Sun Chemical Security. "We believe our intaglio ink's selection for use in currency printing during 2007 will be only one of several situations where our ink is chosen based on its outstanding press performance and ink film integrity, as well as the in-depth technical support we provide."
