VWR International, the leading global laboratory supply distributor, today announced the launch of their new parametric search engine said to provide faster, easier and more accurate search results on www.vwr.com. The new web tool allows multi-parameter searches of one of the most comprehensive, content-rich online selections of laboratory chemicals, equipment and supplies available.

Parametric-based searches locate products by a wide number of parameters to help customers find exactly the items they need faster and easier, streamlining purchasing and research efforts. Search results can be further refined using the new Search Results Comparison tool to produce a feature-by-feature comparison table of a range of products.

According to VWR, parametric searching is especially useful for sourcing life science equipment and supplies, where items need to be chosen based on a matrix of research requirements and matched with specific protocols.
