ANGUS Chemical Company Completes Multi-Million Dollar Expansion at Sterlington Site
Company Celebrates 50th Anniversary of 2-NP Production

ANGUS Chemical Company announced it has completed a multi-million dollar investment project at its Sterlington, Louisiana production site. The capacity expansion projects have enabled ANGUS to add additional volume for several products, including 2-NP and AMP-95(TM) dispersant. According to Billy Duncan, vice president of manufacturing for ANGUS, the Sterlington plant is operating at full production rates.
The product 2-NP is a critical component needed to produce AMP. AMP-95 dispersant is used in numerous applications in the paints and coatings, metalworking fluids, household and personal care, and water treatment markets.
