BASF to increase prices for ABS and SAN

Effective June 15, BASF will increase its prices for ABS and SAN in Europe by 200 Euro per metric ton. The product groups effected are the styrene copolymers Terluran® (ABS), Ronfalin® (ABS) and Luran® (SAN).

The background to this price increase is the still unsatisfactory margin situation of styrene copolymers.

Terluran, Ronfalin and Luran are used in a wide variety of household, office, automotive, sports and leisure items.

The prices for Luran® S will be increased by 0,20 €/kg. The prices for Terlux®, Terblend® N and Luranyl® will be increased by 0,15 €/kg each. This measure is due to the still worsening margin situation.

The styrene copolymer specialties Luran S, Terlux, Terblend N und Luranyl are innovative materials that provide solutions to problems in technically exacting applications. They are used in the automotive, electronics and communication technology, in construction and solar technology, in office, household, sport and leisure.
