Great Lakes Announces Bromine and Intermediates Price Increases

INDIANAPOLIS. Great Lakes Chemical Corporation, announced that effective July 1, 2002, where contracts and agreements allow, the company will increase the price of elemental bromine, 48% HBr and Dibromomethane on a global basis.
The new pricing reflects increased raw material, energy and logistics costs associated with these products.
