SciQuest to Provide Schering-Plough Research Institute with Enterprise Substance Manager

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Jul 1, 2002 - SciQuest, Inc. a software, information and services company that provides solutions to enhance research operations for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other research-based organizations, announced today that Schering-Plough Research Institute has chosen to implement SciQuest's Enterprise Substance Manager(TM) (SciQuest ESM) version 5.0 as its compound management solution.
SciQuest ESM is a software solution used by research scientists and compound management personnel to manage inventories of proprietary compounds and sample plates used in high-throughput screening, genomics and combinatorial chemistry operations. SciQuest ESM provides real-time access to compound data on a local or global basis, maximizes the potential of expensive and highly sophisticated robotics equipment and ensures that drug candidates are tracked and accounted for as they pass through the drug discovery process.
